What it is.
A heat pump moves heat instead of burning fuel. In winter it pulls heat from outdoor air, even on a frosty Tacoma morning, and in summer it runs the same cycle backwards to cool. If your home already has ducts, a ducted heat pump usually replaces the furnace and the AC in one visit.

What moves the price.
You get the installed price in writing before any work. These are the things that change it.

Questions people ask.
Does a heat pump keep up in a Puget Sound winter?
Cold-climate models are built for temperatures well below what Tacoma usually sees. We size the system to your home's heat loss and tell you plainly if a backup heat strip is wise.
Can I keep my gas furnace as backup?
Yes. A dual-fuel setup lets the heat pump do most of the work and hands over to the furnace on the coldest days. We will tell you whether it makes sense for your house.
What rebates can I get?
Programs change, so we check the current ones for your address on the visit and do the paperwork with you. We never quote a rebate we have not confirmed.
